London and I have a complicated relationship. I’m there for work, usually back on a flight within 48 hours. This trip ran a day longer than planned, and a contact suggested Blue Label Models. I was skeptical. I booked anyway.
Anna Leyla is English, which somehow I hadn’t expected to matter — but it did. She knows the city the way locals do, not the tourist version. We skipped the obvious and went straight to a private members’ bar in Mayfair, then dinner somewhere quietly excellent in Marylebone. Champagne, good conversation, no effort required on my part.
She has a Fashion Week background, and it shows — not in a performative way, but in how naturally she holds a room. Effortless is the only word that fits.
I extended my next London trip by a day before I’d even landed home.
