I thought I knew Mykonos. Parties, beaches, the windmills at sunset — I had done all of it. Then a friend mentioned Blue Label’s Summer Special and the fact that Marillina was already on the island. Greek, 23, and she grew up between Mykonos and Athens. That changes everything.
She took me places I wouldn’t have found alone. A hidden cove past Agios Sostis. Champagne at the Armenistis lighthouse as the sky turned red. A private dinner tucked in the back streets of Little Venice — no tourists, no noise, just the sea below us and good conversation above it.
Marillina doesn’t perform Mykonos. She lives it. And for two days, so did I.
Blue Label’s Summer Special is a different thing entirely. I’ll be back.
